Pressure Soar
This is a pressure soar on a foot. This wound lasted for several months and was virtually incurable- It was only with the use of silver alginate that the wound was finally healed.

Tunneling caused by Osteomyelitis and E-coli- The wound started out as a superficial wound- a scrape- which after (9) months of treatment finally became infected. The tunneling occurred within just two days after the infection was detected.
This patient had to under go two sugeries- one for debriding of the bone and the other for a flap surgery.

Burns
This terrible burn was caused by the unsteady hand of a quadriplegic. It was a coffee burn, one in which was treated immediately with Silvedine cream and later with a calcium alginate dressing.
